Lasky, Mrs. Atara

Judaic Studies

Atara Lasky is excited to teach Judaic studies teacher at WHHS! Originally from Teaneck, NJ, and now living in Queens, NY, Atara graduated from Lander College for Women with a degree in Judaic studies and is currently working toward a master’s in Judaic education and special education. She loves building meaningful connections with her students, sharing her passion for Torah learning, and growing together in Avodat Hashem. Back in high school, Atara was always on the move, participating in everything from ice hockey and volleyball to softball, soccer, and track—and even completing a few half marathons! Outside the classroom, she enjoys painting, shopping, and spending time with her baby. She can't wait for another incredible year at WHHS!
