Rafael Rosner-Katz is a dedicated high school science teacher with a passion for inspiring students to explore the natural world through data-driven inquiry.

Mr. Rosner-Katz earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geochemistry and later completed a Master of Arts in Chemistry Education. He holds dual certification to teach Chemistry and Earth Science for grades 5-12, demonstrating his broad expertise in the sciences.

In his teaching, Mr. Rosner-Katz focuses on empowering students at all levels to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively. He believes in developing critical thinking skills and teaching students how to present scientific findings clearly and accurately. His approach is grounded in the view that the natural world is the ultimate source of objective knowledge. He encourages his students to rely on facts and data, emphasizing the importance of evidence-based reasoning over mythology or opinion.

Beyond the classroom, Mr. Rosner-Katz embodies the spirit of a renaissance man. He writes poetry, immerses himself in books at local libraries, and takes contemplative walks in nearby parks. He also has a keen interest in game theory, with a particular focus on chess, where his skills are notably advanced. These varied interests contribute to his well-rounded approach to education and life, allowing him to connect with students and inspire a love for learning that extends beyond the sciences.
